 BROILERS Birds are very high in demand for the production of meat to consumers , due to this 

demand broiler is mostly sold by weight and many farmers find it difficult to meet up with the 

consumers weight demand especially for super market and slaughter houses who prefer to buy 6 

weeks old birds weighing 2 kg and above .

so here we are discussing on how to achieve this great effort using 100 Birds 

Make sure to buy healthy day old from a reputable farm

Make sure to follow strictly the vaccine chat as provided by your supplier 

now the major trick comes from feeding once your management is well taken care of , so here try and 

Budget a total no of 16 bags of 25kg feed .

In this budget you will budget 6 bags of super starter feed of 25 kg bags and 10 bags finisher feed 

You will feed the birds with the super starter for the first 21 days and then switch to finisher until 6 weeks 

Its very important to support them with promain or any very strong vitamin 

In feeding make sure to always put feed for them anytime their feed tray is empty .

Once you can keep to this at 6 weeks your  broilers will be 2kg

The vitamin should be given at least 3 times a week.

Remember to maintain good hygiene because if the birds get sick it reduces  their  weight gain
